Open Stripper!Loki post (human AU)

[The club is dark and the pulsing strobe lights are sure to overwhelm any who come in from the dark of the outside. There is a main stage where a lithe man twists and turns around a metallic pole, moving with the beat of the music. Surrounding the stage are patrons, some watching silently in rapt attention, other being more vocal in their appreciation of the dancer.

Should you approach the stage you will come up just as Loki sinks down to accept tips tucked into his strangely still-present thong.

Should you wait, Loki comes out into the club about 20 minutes after a platform takes him below the stage. He starts smoozing the crowd.

"Oh, so mysterious." Loki gives him a wink. Honestly the more he won't tell him the more curious he gets. He can't push too hard though, especially if the man works for SHIELD.

"I understand. You must have been some pretty amazing places though."

He hesitates because sleeping in the ice for seventy years means he really hadn't been too many places yet this century but he supposes the places he'd been during the war still technically qualify and those had been interesting.

"Yeah, I have," he agrees finally. "Not as many as I'd like or as long as I'd like. We're not usually there to sight see."

"It must be amazing. I've always love traveling. I wish I could do more of it." It was one of the biggest things he missed about Asgard. The freedom to travel, see new places, discover new things. He hadn't gone that far from the city since he landed here and he found he wanted to know more.

"It's pretty amazing," he agrees with a nod. "I wish I was there to enjoy myself. I usually don't have the time to go back later."

The world doesn't exactly stay saved for some reason. He wishes it would but at the same time, he's not sure what he would do with himself. "There are a number of places known for their artwork or architecture, like France or Italy. I'd really like to visit over there."

"Perhaps one day you will. Surely all your free time is not caught up in poorly thought-through team building exorcises?" Or maybe it was. Loki never had much contact with people of Steve's type and occupation. To tell the truth this was probably the longest conversation he'd had with a mortal without the express purpose of getting something from them.

"I hope so," he smiles and he looks excited by the prospect. It'd be nice to visit overseas when there isn't a war going on. "And no, we're just trying to iron out some rough places in our teamwork is all."

"Going on a vacation sounds wonderful." Going on an actual vacation. Not looking for contacts.

"How is it coming?"
