Roommate AU

It's the one person almost everyone has to deal with at some point in your life. The one person who is either your best friend or the bane of your existence. Whether it's your first roommate or your tenth, each experience is new

Roles

I) Complete Strangers You guys have never met before you lived together, whether it was through craigslist or random roommate assignment you're now stuck with each other

II)Met through a friend A friend of your friend is also your friend, right? They can't be all bad to live with or your friend wouldn't have suggested it, right?

III)Long time buds You two have known each other for a while now and you both needed a roommate so you figured why not? Or maybe you've known each other for a while, were desperate, and jumped into this without thinking about how much you don't actually like the other. Either way, too late now.

Scenario

A)Move in day Today's the big day! Are you moving into a dorm? An apartment? Maybe that attic the sweet old couple is renting out? Whatever the case there are a lot of stairs and those boxes aren't going to lift themselves.

B)Bonding time You two need to spend some quality time together. You're living together, so you need to find something to bond over.Paint ball, movies, nail painting, ect. The possibilities are endless.

C)We need to have a talk There is that one thing they do that drives you up the wall. Or maybe it's more than one thing. Okay, there are a lot of things, but let's focus for the time being. You need to talk to them. You know, before you kill them.

D)Grocery buying Everyone needs to eat and it's easiest if you do this together. Otherwise you'll end up with a freezer full of hot pockets again and no milk.

E)Exciting news! Something happened and you need to tell someone! Good thing you have a roommate who's willing to listen.

F)Bad day You need to unwind, and you're roommate's here to help (hopefully).

G)Moving out It's been fun (hopefully) but time to move on!

"I don't know, we could probably rock the same color palette, but I think everything you have might be too small for me."

He moves over to his bed and begins unpacking his clothes to put them in his drawer.

"Speaking of, I only have a few nice shirts and suit to go in the closet so you can use more the hanger room if you need it."

Sam F:
"Nah, everything I need to go in the closet's already there." Which was her leather jacket, her two hoodies and her helmet. She waved a hand as she went back to the cord-tangle, "Feel free to shove it over to the other side if you've got a preference, as long as I can get mine out when I need it I don't really care."

She made a sound of triumph as the speakers finally kicked on, reaching across the desk to turn them down, "I can't promise that I won't have weird coder friends coming over, but if they do it won't be vampire hours."

"I'm fine with weird coder friends as long as they don't mess with my stuff." He continues folding his clothes and fitting them into drawers. If he's lucky he'll have enough room to use the bottom one for DVDs.

"I'm in the Air Force ROTC so sometimes I gotta get up early, but I'll be sure to warn you ahead of time."

"Early mornings are no big deal for me, hell, one of my Monday-Wednesday-Friday classes starts at seven thirty. Who's bright idea was it to have a college course start that early? Who's idea was it to actually take that class?"

She shrugged, the movement exaggerated, lifting both hands, "We just don't know, total mystery." She shook her head, "For real, though, sometimes I'm out that early for a walk or a ride anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem at all."
