Open Stripper!Loki post (human AU)

[The club is dark and the pulsing strobe lights are sure to overwhelm any who come in from the dark of the outside. There is a main stage where a lithe man twists and turns around a metallic pole, moving with the beat of the music. Surrounding the stage are patrons, some watching silently in rapt attention, other being more vocal in their appreciation of the dancer.

Should you approach the stage you will come up just as Loki sinks down to accept tips tucked into his strangely still-present thong.

Should you wait, Loki comes out into the club about 20 minutes after a platform takes him below the stage. He starts smoozing the crowd.

[Tony waits at the bottom of the platform, waiting for Loki to come down so he can take his place on the stage]
How's the crowd tonight?

[Loki's just finished plucking the bills out of his thong when he flashes Tony the rather large stack of money and winks.]

Generous, but probably broke now, Stark. Sorry, but that's what happens when you come in late.

[Tony raises in eyebrow at Loki's stack of cash.]
Late and FASHIONABLY late are two different things my dear friend. Besides, I spotted a few of my regulars on my way in.
[Tony wiggles his eyebrows, swaying his hips a bit as he gets on the platform in his best 3-piece suit.]

[Loki just rolls his eyes and heads back to their joint dressing room. He towels off and slips into his own three piece suit. When Tony gets back from his set he'll be just finishing scrubbing the last of the glitter off his face.]

{Loki is just scrubbing the glitter off his face when Tony walks in, pulling the last of his tips from his barely-there undergarments.]
You missed the bachelorette party that just got in, and boy were they packing....[Tony avoids the glitter-tainted side of the room as much as possible, putting on a robe and sitting in front of his vanity and pulling out stacks of essays to grade before his next set.] You know, I always thought MIT undergrads were smart, but from all of this shit I have to grade, I worry about the future of engineering....

Yes, I heard about the ladies. They made a special request for a double in an hour. Be ready.

[Loki looks over his shoulder at the papers.]

They are learning, Anthony. You have to afford them a few mistakes.

[Tony responds with a grumble that may sound like something about Loki not having to do the grading.]
Three months, three more months I will have all of the free-time to work on my robot...I'm counting the days Loki, soon enough it shall be glorious hours.

This is not his idea and he's not sure who is exactly responsible either. Someone down the line had mentioned it and then the stripclub had suddenly found itself full of off-duty SHIELD agents. Steve is largely just along for the ride and here because Tony had goaded him into it.

Everything is bright and ridiculous and Steve stays away from the women wandering around, sitting instead on the side with the gentleman dancer. The man is lithe and beautiful he will give him that but he's not sure how he feels about this. Steve is the type to wine and dine; he's not in it for the cheap thrills.

For some reason, twenty minutes later he's still there. In his wandering, someone will slip Loki a large bill and point him toward Steve. Yay coworkers.

Yes, yes. As long as the apartment stays relatively robot-part free.

[From behind Tony he rests his arms on the other's shoulders and his chin on his head.]

We need to tell the DJ what routine we're going to be using for the bachelorette party. We'll be in room 5. [The largest of the club's private rooms.]

Loki slides over to Steve, taking the other bar stool at the table the man was sitting at.

"You seem to have friends in high places." He nods over to none other than Tony Stark (who else would try to get Steve a stripper?) then flashes Steve the $100 bill.

[Tony gave an uninterested hum]
Let's do something fun, god knows I won't be having any of that this weekend.You can pick, I need to knock a few of these out....[get out his red pen] DO THEY NOT KNOW HOW TO DO BASIC ALGEBRA?!?!?!?!? [He tilts his head so that he's looking at Loki, although the angle is a bit odd] Why am I teaching Intro to calc? Why???

[He begins massaging Tony's rather tense shoulders]

Because you thought teaching in intro class would be easy and would give you lots of time to build your robots and have hot sex with me. Dear lord you are tense, are you sure you can't take some time off?

Not without losing the money. [Tony sighs] Howard cut me off after I refused to build weapons for him, remember? Froze my trust fund, too, that son of a bitch... [Tony tensed before relaxing into Loki's touch, looking back down at the papers he's grading.] I just really hate the grading; I swear when I get tenure I'll make my grad students do all of the grading. Honestly, I love the teaching, I do, you know the smart ones that actually come to office hours...

Do yourself a favor and teach a higher level next time.

[Loki continues to massage him. They can't be tense for their routine, and he can't have him too tense later.]

Forget about Howard. You're making enough to get by now. Soon you'll get a professorship and everything will be fine.

You just keep telling me that....[Tony continues to make red marks on the papers on the vanity.] How much time do we have?

Forty five minutes. Would you like some help with that while we wait? I would rather forgo my walk around tonight with the private dance.

[Loki had completed a degree from MIT as well in Astronomy He was planning on going to grad school, but just hadn't bothered yet. He was having fun and making good money, so why not enjoy life a little?]

Please? I'll treat you when we get home....[Tony gives Loki his best puppy eyes]

Promises, promises, Anthony.

[He takes a spare red pen and half the stack and goes to work. Loki made a habit of learning to forge Tony's handwriting a while ago so only a trained handwriting expert could decipher the difference between the pages Loki graded and the ones Tony did.]

Told you...this is what I get two weeks before winter break...I've been having nightmares about the final. Thank god it's going to all be on scantron....

At least you will have plenty of free time over the break. I believe Natasha is planning a bar crawl New Years Eve. Also it's our turn to host Christmas.

[Most of their friends either didn't go home for the holidays or didn't have a home to go back too. They made it tradition to congrigate at someone's apartment, eat chinese food, exchange presents, then watch the worst scifi movies of the year.]

Just as long as your brother doesn't break our couch like he did last time...I mean really how did he even manage to do that? [Tony sighs and goes back to grade, albeit not quietly.After about three more papers Tony puts his pen away and starts to dress for the bridal party.]

I will inform him. [Things with Thor and Loki had gotten better, but they were still not to where they were when they were younger. Thor was still in contact with their family, but insisted on spending the holidays with Loki. Luckily being connected to Odin meant all Thor had to do was ask for the money for a new couch.]

The bride's wedding colors are red and gold, so I thought we could go with a color scheme similar.

[Loki flashed his own gold booty shorts.]

[Tony nods and dresses, slipping a wine coloured button-down over his shoulders.]
Hmm, which pants? Dress slacks or leather? Too bad I don't have your flowing locks, I could pass myself off as an Ann Rice character....

We could do the businessman-bad boy routine.

[Loki pulls out his own custom made tear-away leather pants]

Dress clothes for you, leather for me?

Sounds good to me. [Tony smirks and puts his slacks on, contemplating this reflection in the mirror. He looks over at Loki, getting an eyeful in the process.] Ready to go, hot stuff?
